Where to Donate Items in Fairfax, VA

It’s the time of year when many people decide to dive into messy closets and cabinets and get organized. It’s a good feeling to get rid of the stuff that you no longer use or need, especially when you know there is someone else who can use it. There are many helpful organizations here in Fairfax, VA that are grateful to receive gently used items such as clothing, coats, shoes, hats and scarves, furniture, toys and household items. They, in turn, use these to help others in our communities, either directly by passing them on to people or families; or by using the money earned from selling the items to enhance their community programs. If you have gently used clothing, furniture or household items you wish to donate, please consider one of these Fairfax organizations. You can visit their website for more information or give them a call if you have any questions.
