The 2018 Summer Concert Series is here! Bring some food, lawn chairs, blankets, friends or family and enjoy a free outdoor concert at one of these Northern Virginia locations. These live performances feature a wide variety of musical acts from jazz to big band, classic to bluegrass, swing to folk and rock ‘n roll. Some venues offer food and beverages for sale, while others encourage you to bring your own picnic (but no alcohol). Enjoy a summer evening outdoors listening to some great music!

EVENINGS ON THE ELLIPSE – Fairfax Government Center, Fairfax
On Thursday evenings from July 5th through August 30th, enjoy free concerts in the backyard of the Fairfax County Government Center at 5:30pm. Paradise Springs and Bull Run Winery will be providing generous tastings and sales of their premium wines. If it rains, the Evenings on the Ellipse Concert will be moved inside to the Fairfax County Government Center Forum. CONCERTS IN THE PARK – Cherry Hill Park, Falls Church
26th Annual Summer Concerts in the Park series held in Cherry Hill Park (312 Park Ave., Falls Church, VA 22046) beginning on June 21 and continuing through August 2. The series features local musicians of various genres every Thursday evening. All concerts begin at 7:00 p.m. and are free to the public. In the event of rain, concerts will be held in the Falls Church Community Center located next to the Park at 223 Little Falls St.
HUNTER MILL NIGHTS – Frying Pan Farm Park, Herndon
Hunter Mill Melodies concert series is held Thursday evenings at 7:30pm June 21 through August 23 at Frying Pan Farm Park. This free entertainment series features a wide variety of musical acts from across the United States and from around the world. Come early for a picnic in the park, and visit with the farm animals and enjoy a wagon ride. Bring your friends and head to Central Place Plaza on Thursdays in June to listen to live music. Each week will be a new cover band.
