Complete the Circle FOODRaiser

It’s hard to believe that right here in Fairfax County about 60,000 people may or may not eat today and approximately 28,000 are children. It is sad, but true. At times, we take for granted being able to run to the grocery store to pick up what we need to fix school lunches for the kids or ingredients to cook dinner for the family. We may not think twice about inserting the chip into the credit card reader at checkout, but for many families right here in our community this may not be the case. They are often filled with great anxiety as to how they will be able to afford to feed their family; to provide meals for their growing children. The struggle is real. If you have often thought about ways you can help your neighbors in need and wanted to make a difference, here is an opportunity to do just that! Join Britepaths and Lorton Community Action Center at the 2017 Complete the Circle FOODRaiser event as they raise awareness and collect food donations and gift cards for those who go hungry in Fairfax County.
