Friday Night Live! Herndon Rocks is kicking off another season of free summer concerts with all of your favorite bands and some new ones as well. Every Friday night from May through August crowds gather at the Town Green in historic downtown Herndon (777 Lynn Street) beginning at 6:30pm to hear music from popular local bands and acts from up and down the East Coast. Most music is rock and roll covers from classic to modern rock, but also some country and original music.
Besides great music, you’ll enjoy food from local restaurants including Domino’s, TurCuisine, Dairy Queen, Jimmy’s Old Town Tavern and Egg Karne. They also have a wide variety of beverages, several different beers and wine for sale. The Herndon High School Boosters sell freshly popped popcorn each Friday to raise money.
Friday Night Live! is an all volunteer event put on by the Herndon Chamber of Commerce with the help of The Town of Herndon, the Optimist Club of Herndon and many corporate sponsors. All proceeds from FNL! benefit the Chamber, Herndon High School and local elementary schools.
It’s a fun way to spend a summer night with friends or with the family!
