Join your neighbors this summer at Fairfax Swimming Pool at 4200 Roberts Road in Fairfax City! The Pool’s season begins this year on May 26, operates regularly through Labor Day, and is open for two weekends after Labor Day. The Pool welcomes new members from any geographic location.
Families Should Act Now to Join! The Pool has a Wait List for Family Memberships, so join the Wait List as soon as possible, because capacity is opening up, and the Pool is moving families currently on the Wait List to family memberships with access to the Pool and programs through April 30th. Family Memberships sold out in the 2017 season before school ended! Only families on the Wait List will get first priority to access the Pool this summer.
A Limited Number of Seasonal Memberships are available for adult Singles, Couples and College Students.
Main Pool features:
- dedicated diving area with 2 boards
- demarcated lap lanes
- large shallow area with steps & handrails
- ADA-compliant lift to assist entry into & out of pool
The Pool’s separate, gated wading pool with beach entry and water features is a hit with the little ones — and their parents!
The Pool sponsors parties and events throughout the season, including Food Truck Fridays, raft nights in August, cookouts and family and age-specific parties. Members may also reserve the gazebo for private parties.
Young members may enjoy being part of our Northern Virginia Swim League (NVSL) Fairfax Frogs Swim and Dive Teams! In the 2018 season, both teams are in Division 2. Children aged 4 and up may get ready for the team on the fun Tadpoles team! The Pool also sponsors swim lessons for children.
