Britepaths’ annual event, Artful Living, is coming up on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 7pm to 10pm at the Stacy C. Sherwood Community Center in Fairfax City, 3740 Old Lee Hwy., Fairfax, VA 22030. Enjoy an evening of art, wine and community connections at this juried art exhibition and community event. There will be live music by Batida Diferente and delicious appetizers by Dolce Vita. This event is part of the Fairfax Spotlight on the Arts Festival and proceeds will benefit Britepaths’ families and the Fairfax Spotlight on the Arts Festival Scholarships Fund.

Calling all artists! Local artists are invited to submit their work for consideration. This year’s theme is Empowerment. What does empowerment mean to you?  Our community is filled with people we see every day and yet we do not know their challenges or their stories. Art is used to illustrate, illuminate and share our experiences through many different lenses. Use your artistic ability to illuminate “empowerment.” Submissions are due Monday, April 2, 2018 at 8am.
