Enjoy the Kentucky Derby at the Derby-Q Festival in Fairfax City!

Come and watch the Kentucky Derby on the big screen with your friends and neighbors at the Derby-Q Festival at Old Town Square in Fairfax City, Saturday, May 5, 2018. This community festival will feature specialty beer and bourbon tastings, a variety of BBQ vendors and live blues bands will perform on stage. The event takes place 2pm to 8pm in downtown Fairfax City. New this year is the 1pm VIP Early Admission packages.

1:00pm – 2:00pm:   Doors Open for VIP Early Bird Only

1:00pm – 3:15pm:   Music By Moonshine Society

2:00pm:   Doors open to all other ticket holders

4:00pm – 6:15pm:   Music By Anthony “Swamp Dog” Clark

6:15pm – 6:30pm:   Kentucky Derby Race

6:30pm – 8:00pm:   Music By Marshall Artz

Alcohol Rules & Regulations:

  • This is NOT a B.Y.O.B event, all alcohol must be purchased on site.
  • Sealed nonalcoholic drinks can be brought into the event.
  • Individuals caught trying to bring alcohol into the event will be barred from attending. Anyone caught more than once will be barred permanently.
  • No alcoholic beverages may be taken outside of the Beer Garden area.
  • You must be 21 to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages.
  • Everyone must present a valid ID and obtain a wristband prior to purchase and in order to consume alcoholic beverages. WE CARD EVERYONE – REGARDLESS OF AGE.
  • No more than 2 alcoholic beverages may be purchased by an individual at one time.
  • Derby-Q reserves the right to deny any person of the right the purchase of alcohol at the Derby-Q event.
  • Alcohol sales start at 2:00 P.M. and end at 7:00 P.M.
